The'.-offer, of Trinity College amounted:to a certain value of at least £75 per annum towards the maintenance of a .student from Canterbury College during his residency at Cambridge ■ The expenses of an undergraduate amounted--to from, £200 to £250.a year, but with economy the, ariiount could be reduced to £170 or'even. £150, This latter, however, .would'entail considerable restriction of his. social: intercourse. .Table A. issued by the Trinity College showed annual expenses amounting to £234,-and table B expenses amounting, to £171.
