RAILWAY SERVICE.

• The \ Sunday train which used to leave the Lower Hutt for Wellington, at 9.23 a.m., will depart, on and after February 14, at'9.l9,'arriv-' ing 'at 9.43. ; This, change is being made to enable people from- the , Hutt line district 1 to catch the train for Otaki at the Thorndon Station. The train from Te Aro for the Upper Hutt will leave.at 9.35..a.m., instead 0f. : 9.28; . On.and : after Monday next, the departure of trains' from the Upper Hutt for 'Wellington will be altered from 7.45.a.m. to 7.43, and from .12.40 :p:m. to 12.55, except on Saturdays, when the train will leave at the old time, 12.40. -A train will, leave Feathereton for AVoodville at 3.38, instead of 3.42 p.in. An extra train; will start from' Palmerston North at 12.50 p.m.: to 1 cSnneot with. the. train, from Auckland.;.

,\On Monday, a. new time-table will' be:ihtro-' .dueod for the morning and afternoon trains' for Palmerston North. The departure of the 10.10 a>m,< train, is to be.shifted forward l -to 9.35, and the afternoon train is to steam out at 4. o'clock: instead of 4.15.' The present .5.20 p.m. train for Jdhnsonville.is to leave Thorndon at 5.25. These alterations and others are nn. outcome of. the installation "of the through express .service by the Main.
