LINCOLN EGG-LAYING CONTEST.
The following (says a Christchurch Press Association telegram) are the results to data of tho fourth egg-laying competition at Lincoln Collego under tho auspices of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1010. The total to date is 4295. The following are some of the best layings for the wcpk:— T. Kennedy's silver vyandottes, 36;, Miss E Hearfield's whito leghorns, 33; Mrs. W. O. Sail's white leghorns, 32; J. Stringfellow's white leghorns, 32: Drury and Roses's white leghorns, 32; R. W. Hnwke's white leghorns, 31; H. Padman's white leghorns. 30; W H Nixon's white leghorns, 30; H. Hawke's white leghorns, 30; J. Hussoy's white leghorns, 30. Some of the best totals to date arc T. Kennedy's 1243, A. Padman's 1225, Drury and Rose's 1211 Allan Petrie's 1209 "N.Z. Poultry Journal' , Institute, 1178, R. W. Howko'e 1163. "
