WEDNESDAY MATCHES, The fifth round of matches untjer the Wed- ■. nesday Cricket Association was commenced yesterday in perfect weather. The wickets were satisfactory, and the light held good until early in the evening. The match, Artillery v. Rivals, was practically decided oa the first day's play, for Artillery, with seven wickets down had n score of 172, and the first innings of the Rivals produced only 71 runs. In the other match, Union v. Oriental, the former put together a total of 143, and stumps were drawn when Oriental had nine wickets down for 126. Orientals were playing a man short, K.
