A MOTHER'S ACT. (dt TiiEOttirn—rnEss associat'on— coriaiGHT.) . (Rec. February 3, 1.6 a.m.) Melboiirno, February 2. A woman named Field, living at Parkvalo, gave her two children, a boy'and a girl, a ,decoction of match heads, and drank tho samo herself. She' also shot the girl in the head. The latter is now out of danger, but the mother and the boy are in a critical state. It is supposed to be a case of temporary insanity. '
