Pasha,' threatening Tirnovo—is interpreted as boing duo to a desire on the part of Bulgaria to produce apt impression of firmness, in order, to influence her bargaining negotiations, with' Turkey. - The latter Power is showing a desire to secure rectification of the frontier, near. Kirjali (on the Turkish side of,the boundary,: about 55 miles southward from Stara Zagora, and about 65 miles east of Mustafa Piisha) unless the amount of Bulgaria's offer of compensation to Turkey is increased. . BULGARIAN EXPLANATION. ■ Sofia, January . 26. 1 General Paprikoff, Bulgarian Minister for Foreign Affairs, stated in a speech in the Sobranje, that Bulgaria had information to the effect that the Porte appeared to be determined to support her territorial claim on the frontier by force. Turkey had re'inforccd her troops in the Adrianople district,! hence the mobilisation of a Bulgarian division, in the face of this menace, was purely a preventive measure. The Sobranjo approved tho Minister's statement. ■■ - -
