FIRE BRIGADE COMPETITIONS. c

-, The Hutt Fife Brigade held their competitions on the recreation 'ground on Saturday afternoon in the presence of a fair number of spectators. The brigade executive, under Mr. H; Baldwin, sectetafy, superintended arrangements. Messrs. W. Rator, H. RixTrott. and J. H. Carter were the judges;' Mr: Percy R: Purser the startor; and Messrs. J. G. Chapman arid F. Jcnriess timekeeperß. lhe , various events were promptly got off, the results being as follow: — ".-Championship event (Mr. H.
