A bomb was "oxploded in the Block X mine rcsorve. No .damage was done. Failing a settlement before then tho Block X mine will closo on Thursday. This will render idle en additional 630' men. January 13, 0.48 a.m.) Sydney, January 12. i The president of the Arbitration Court is arranging for.a soparate conference with the directors of the Proprietary mine and the men on Thursday, to discuss the trouble. Melbourne, January 12. The Proprietary dircotors, at tho closo of ft meeting to-day, forwarded a letter to tho president of tho Arbitration Court. Tho contents have not been disclosed, but it is understood that the directors insist on tho withdrawal of, the piokots as a preccdont to a conference. ' .
