EDWARD JOHN SKARL ARRESTED, According to a telegram receivad-by the. police, yestenjay, Edward John, Searl, formerly a restaurant-keeper- '"'in Wellington, has been arrested at Aka'roa bu a, charge of forgery ■'at' Wellington, on .or 'about September 15 last.' The allegation- is . that" Searl;' forged the name of a .'certain person"'to a cheque for £7, winch cheque was drawn on the Bank of Australasia, Napier; ,and is alleged, to vhave "been uttered to ona. John Holman Kingdon, with intent. that it, should.; ,1)E! aoted upon as genuine. .■ - ' It is understood that Searl will; appear on remand at Wellington on Friday next.. ! .
