A train arrived early , ths morning with a hundred additional police. There was no demonstration.. .' • ■ At a meeting of Proprietary directors, the question of submitting the dispute to. tho Arbitration Court ■ was'disoussed. .- It was subsequently announced that a communication had been sent '.to the president of the Court) but the nature of its. contents was not : disclosed. ■ Tho directors also, decided to offer a reward of £500 for information leading to the conviction of tho persons who attacked members of tho mining staff , and the local office. Tho Labour Council has decidod to issue a circular to all unionß, appealing for immediate help and finanqial support for the Barrier miners. ■ The point';was taken at the meeting that tho adoption of the resolution 1 was a defiance of the law. -Some speakers'tirged that they, should seize the chance of defying'such a law. v ■ ■ >■■ . : A PIPE'DYNAMITED. . r| (Reo.
