DINNERS TO MR. GILRUTH.
The retiring Chief Veterinarian, Mr. J. A. Gilruth, is to bo the guest at three important dinners this week. 1. To-night at the Hotel Cecil ho will bo entertained by tho members of the votonnarian profession. 2. Next Friday evening the frozen meat interests will be tho hosts at a dinner tendered at one of the other hotels of tho city, 3. Next Saturday evening his departmental and othoi personal friends will give him a farOToll dinner at tho Hotel Cecil. Any friends of Mr; Gilruth , s who have been overlooked in conneotion with the last function aro invited to communicate with Mr. G. Bissot, of the Department of Agriculture, Customs Buildings, who has the arrangements' in hand.
