- At tho Mount Cook Police Court yesterday morning, before Dr. Mackin, J.P.. one first offender, charged with drunkenness, >vas fined 55., in default 24 hours' imprisonment. Thomas Butterfield, ' Joseph O'Hanlan, and George Albright, arraigned on a similar cliargo, were convicted and discharged. The" statutory meeting of the newly-formed Johnsonvillo Bowling Club took place on Thursday night at the Rechabite Hall, when a large'- number of members were present.
