As a result of the negotiations between Mr. Kidston, Premier, and the Philp party, the following Ministry, which represents a coalition of Kidstonites and Philpites, as against the Labour party, has been formed:— Mr. W. Kidston, Premier and Chief Sccretary. . . Mr. A. H. Barlow, Minister fbr Public Instruction and • Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council. Mr. J. T. Bell, Homo Secretary. Mr. T. O'Sullivan, Attorney-General. Mr. A. G. C. Hawthornp, Treasurer. Mr. D. F. Denham, Minister'; for Lands. Mr. J. G. Appel, Minister for Mines and Works. • Mr. W. T. Paget, Minister for Railways and Agriculture. The first-mentioned five were members of Mr. Kidston's last Ministry, the last threo are Philpites. i . Of the Philpites, Mr. Denham was Home Secretary ,in the last Philp Government, which be joined, after ' a rupture last year with Mr. Kidston. \ Mr. Airey, the Kidston Minister who resigned because of the Philp coalition, is succeeded as Treasurer by Mr. Hawthorne, late Home Secretary; while the latter portfolio is filled by Mr. 8011, late Minister for Lands. The new Attorney-General, Mr. O'Sullivan, was Minister for Agriculture in the last Government.

Mr. Barlow's position in the Ministry is unchanged.
