PALMERSTON.
The members of the High School Board of Governors express high appreciation of the munificent gift of £250 to the school funds by Messrs. J. Nathan and Co., Wellington. The donation carries with it the Government subsidy of '£ for £, and the total sum will . materially'assistthe Governors in their progressive measures in connection with the nigh and technical schools. At the same meetings plans were, approved for a boarding school in. connection with' the High' School. Accommodation will be provided for twenty boarders.' ' •
