At a Cabinet meeting at Washington it was decided that all the members of the Cabinet should embark on a speech-making campaign on behalf of Mr. Taft (the Republican candidate for the Presidency). The fact that tlie Hon. E. Root (Secretary of State) has been sent to Ohio to speak shows that there exists in Republican circles some anxiety regarding the election results in Mr. Taft's own State.
