NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP RE- \ GATTA. (1!T TELEGRAPH—FItESS ASSOCIATION.) . Auckland, October 26. Tho executive oommittoo of tlie Auckland Rowing Association met this evening, the principal business being the discussion of arrangements for the New Zealand championship regatta. A motion passed at the last meeting in favour, of holding the regatta on Auckland Harbour was rescinded, and tho question 'of whether, the regatta will be held on Auckland Harbour or the Waikato, -Ilivei- coursri at Mercer will be discussed next Monday evening at a meeting of association delegates. The date of the regatta will also be decided'then. The'following programme was decided on: —New Zealand champion events (fours, pair oars, double sculls, and single Eculls); interassociation challenge, eight-oared race, distance'; two miles; Auckland plate (fours), open-to all crews except winners of championship fours, to be rowed in dingers, dis? taneo'li miles; maiden fours, 10 stone and under; and maiden fours, open weights, distance I'mile each; junior fours, 10 stono and tinder; and junior fours, open weights, distance 11 miles each; maiden and junior, pair oars,:! double sculls, and single sculls, :distance 1' mile each.
