This information is required by tho Department: Cookery, dressmaking, physics, mechanical drawing, architectural drawing, plumbing, carpentry, and art." The chairman (the Rev. A. Thomson) said tho letter was not forwarded to them, so that they might know the object of tho Department in asking for this return. They sent the application for furniture, but had no >reply from tho Department, but a note from Air; Stewart asking that ho be sup- . plied with the returns, as tho Department tfas anxious to get them. ....
