Thomson, Minister for Marine, of being responsible for the disaster' to the battleship Jena. Despito an 'cnergotio defence by M. Thornton, tho Chamber adopted a resolution deploring the regrettable negligence: of the Ministry of Marine, .but expressed confidence in the Government. as : K : -M. Thomson thereupon resigned.
