WELLINGTON LACROSSE ASSOCIATION.
To wind up a successful season the Wellington Lacrosse Association held their first annual smote concert at Godber's, last night. ■ •• The Hon. T. W. Hislop (president) occupied' the chair during the initial' stages of the evening, but another'engagement'compelled ' him to leave, and Mr. F. G. Bolton (vice-' president) then presided:- The principal toasts • of the evening were: "Wellington Lacrosse Association," "Affiliated Clubs," and "Kindred Sports." Mr. H. M'Keowon spoko at • some length on "kindred sports," and wound Hp an interesting address '' by donating a trophy for next season. To the : programme i for the evening, the following contributed' ■ items Messrs. S. and L. Moran, H. M'Carthy, A. H. Casey, Cummiugs, L. Fama, H.
