Tho three-mon flat competition had to be abandoned owing to tho hose bursting. Two-men Coupling.—Pctouo No. 3 team, timo, 34 l-sscc. Tho remaining competitions aro to bo got off on Saturday afternoon next. Messrs. Hall, Whitehead, Brookes, and Warden acted as judgos and timekeepers for tho different events, anditha Petone Brasi Band played seloctions on tha ground during tho afternoon. Tho Wellington City Salvation Army Brass Band gavo an enjoyable concert in tho Petono Salvation Army Hall last night. Tho hall was well filled, and each item was well received, and several cncored.
