■" WELLINGTON. CEN'TRE. The Wellington Bowling Centre met at tllf Wellington Bowling Club's pavilion last ovening, there being present: —Messrs. King (chairman), Leighton (Thorndou), Hodgiiia and Routley (K,elburnc). Dickcrson and Short ■(Karori), Grundy and Churchward (Wellington), Danks (Newtown), ICiUo and Hueston (Victoria), Murphy and Hendry (Rutt). Apologies .ftir absence were received from Messrs: Smith (l'ctone), and Scott (Newtown). 0 " . Consideration was given to the various clauses 'of the draft constitution, prepared by the 'club representatives, for the institution of'a local centro to bo called the "Wellington Bowling Centre," and these, after minor alterations, were ultimately adopted. It was resolved that tlivo clauso providing for local intcr-club matches bo struck out. Some' discussion arose as to the advisability of holding the animal tournament in January.' It was finally decidcd to comniunicato with the various clubs, asking for suggestions regarding tho matter.
