RIFLE SHOOTING.
PETONE RIFLE CLUB. The Petone Rifle Club commenced its comSotitions oil Saturday with matches for A and ;• classes. The conditions were: 10 shots at 500 and 600 yards. The weather was favourable, save for a tricky wind, varying from 3 degrees right to 4 decrees left. Trophies for A Class were donated by Mr. T. Burt and Mr. W. H.
