The " Wallabies" (Australian amateur Rugby team) beat Penyoraig by a goal, a penalty goal and a try (11 points) to a try (3 points). The ground was heavy. Tho game was fast in the first half. The Australian League (professional team) played the Rochdale Hornets. The visitors were on the defensive in the first half. Considerable roughness was used, and the referee sautioned several players. Australia won by 5 points to nil. ,
