FIRE PANIC.
' -9 GROUNDLESS ALARM: FORTY-EIGHT KILLED. (BT TEIEGRArH—rRESS ASSOCIATION—COPT RIGHT.) Vienna, October 6. A groundless alarm of fire caused a panic among 3000 persons in the Synagogue at Maramaroa Sziget, in Hungary. Forty-eight were killed and many injured in tho crush at the only exit.
