Thoroughgood for the championship of Australia. Mr. Daly writes:— "Wliclch leaves Akaroa on Wednesday, and is duo in Sydney on October 13. Ho will go straight on from there to tho Hunter. This will give him about five and a half weeks over thero before tho race. Wliclch is very fit and confident."
