INTERESTINffMGTJRES. The usual four-weekly report, giving tho tramway figures for tho period, was presented to tho Tramway Committee of the City Council yesterday afternoon. The working-expellees .amounted £10,121, an increase 0f.,£126a,. a£L r compare.d with last year. The excess of/revenue; oyer worlciug expenses was £3278;' an increase of £979 over last year. After providing for estimated interpSt;uipking;fuudj and depreciation charges,'amounting- in all to £18,036, the net surplus, to. da to amounts to. £1673,. as compared with "a 'debit balance' last' year of £439, a very-satisfactory-profit - on. the winter months of the year.
