A writ lias been issued, at the instance of Miss'lvy Salvin, an English lady now in Sydney, claiming £5000 damages against Sir. Bigwood, husband of Miss Carrie Moore, actress, for brcacli of promise. . Miss Salvia alleges that Mr. Bigwood purchased Lord Northcoto's motor car for her for 420 guineas. An injunction. will be applied for to-morrow to restrain Mr. Bigwood from dealing with the motor car.
