Some of the transgressors aro said to have found 'their way back to their quarters in the small hours of the morning, and, needless to say, did not'enter by the front door, whilo' one other thought it better.to report herself next iriorriing, having-taken ■ shelter for tho night with her. family. Of course; so grave a dereliction of duty had to be officially recorded,' as'it wasi and was .in -due course dealt with .by the trustees; One nurse was disrated, and the others were admonished and told that a, similar .offence by- any of them would be very severely dealt with.
