MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

The weekly ambulance meeting at (he Missions to Seamen Institute attracted a largo audience on Friday night. Mr. James Moore gaveseveral useful hints in connection with, health matters .and . first aid, and also showed the way. of restoring the apparently drowned. • Competitions rolating to ambulance work were held, and won by sailors from ships in port. Miss Barton arranged an enjoyable programme of music, tho following contributing items: —Misses Barton, Francis. M'Mahon, Messrs. Miller, Franks, and Dol)binson (R.M.S. lonic). Misses Paul and Copelarid presided at tho piano. The performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
