WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.

MONTHLY MEETING. A meeting of the Land Board was held at the District Land and Survey Office yesterday. Present: Messrs. Jas. Mackenzie (Commissioner Crown Lands, in tho chair), A. Reese, J, Dawson, J. M. A'Court, and C. J. Canton. A representative of Mcssrß. Goodbehere and Eng attended tho Board with reference to their application for the cutting rights over Sections 24 and 26, Block VI, Hantnpu, and asked that the matters be treated as' urgent as they .were just completing their cutting over the lands tlioy have at present, • and wanted to shift their mills. ■ The writers were advised that tho matter would be pushed forward' as much as possible, and the appraisement would bo mado within the next two months.
