Pichon, French Minister for Foreign Affairs, received Baron Von Lancken, Gorman Charge d'Affaires,- in a courteous manner, and had with him a conciliatory conversation regarding .the Casablanca affair. M. Pichon remarked that before thorough discussion of the matter was possible, the precise facts must be t lcnown. Goneral d'Amade, French Commander-in-Chief in Morocco, would be- asked to furnish a complete report.
