Tho final for the Abraham Cup was played between Kia' Toa and Old Boys in excellent weather, a slight breeze blowing along tho field. In the first spell, Old Coys had much the better of the play. Fraser landed two penalties, L. Smith potted' a goal . from the field, Svliilo Arch. M'Mirin scored a try for Kai Toa. At half-time the score was— Old Boys, 10; Kia Toa, '3. On changing ends, ICia Toa soon showed their superiority, and put on three more tries, M'Minn, "Ward, and Stevens scoring. None of these wcro converted. Kia Toa thus holds tho Abraham Cup again, the Old Boys being runners-up in both competitions. • ■ The Government Printing Office football team defeated tho Ramblers football team of Petone on Saturday'by Bto 3. L. Wilson and M'Grath scored tries for tho winners, the latter converting one.
