Cape Portland reports that a largo unknown barque struck a reef at Foster's Island at 9 o'clock this morning, and sank with all hands. The colour of the barque was black, with a white lino. Boats wore lowered from the barque, but apparently there was no time to do anything.' Later reports state that a tmall piece of sail was visible for a time where the disaster occurred.' Signals to Foster Island wore hot replied to. No boats are visible

LATER. FOUR SURVIVORS (Rec. September 2S, 1.10 a m.) Launccston, September 27. Cape Portland wires to-night that four survivors have been found. No details are to band.
