OUTPUTS DISPOSED OF.
The Mauriceville Co-operative Dairy Company is reported to have sold its. output at a record price (writes our Wairarapa correspondent). A few days ago it was stated that the Ballance Company had sold at a record price, and that Mauriceville had refused a high offerimado by a Wellington firm. It appears, therefore, that the butter market' is hardening. Some days ago the Opunake Dairy Company sold for 11 jd per pound. The Mauriceville Company's record price, therefore, must bo something like Hid. It is fairly well known that there have been extensive butter purchases by produce merchants, and this I seems; to indicate a strong expectation of high prices.
