A member having lost his seat by not attending the meeting nominations are to be ~, invited for the vacancy. . ;. The ladies' championship of the local golf i ■ club has been won by Mrs. E.' H, Saun&m r with a grand score of 287, and this is the > sixth consecutive year that she has carried f off Hhe honour. Mrs. G. T. Allen, with a ii score of 292, was second, and Mrs. W. Too- ! goad, 301, third, these ladies gaining the I';'.- samepositions.last year. -
