Tho next best dispatch for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via Brindisi, closing at Wellington, per Moeraki, this day at 2 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Monto Video and Tenerilfc, closo at Auckland, per Tongariro, on Saturday, September 2G, at 8 a.m. Correspondence to be specially addressed. On Saturday, September 26 (Dominion Day), tho following hours will be observed at t'lio Chief PostOihce. The counter for letter-delivery, sale of and for registration will bo open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Parcels Department, Brandon Street, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Country mails will close in the morning only at the usual time. ■ Mails for steamers leaving during the day will close at 8.30.a.m. There will be one full delivery only by letter-carriers, closing at tho Chief Post Office at 7 a.m. Tho Money-order and Savings-bank Departments will not bo open during the day or in I lie ovening. .- Mails for Australian States close at Auckland, per Mokoia, on Monday, September 28, at 4.15 p.iu., and at Bluff, per Waikare, at 8 a.m. J.
