The coroner's inquest on Mrs. Luard, whose murder near Sevenoaks (Kent). wa3 followed by tho suicide of her husband, Major-General Luard, a victim of anonymous accusers, has concluded. Tho verdict of tho jury is that Mrs. Luard was murdered by some person or. persons unknown. The jury' protested against , anonymous letters boing sent to .influence their verdict.
The coroner admitted that ho had never known the police .to bo more baffled.
