The cardroom workers in Lancashire, whoso refusal to accept the employers' proposed 5 per cent, reduction in wages involves the idleness of the operative spinners and .other employees in tho spinning mills, are taking no steps with regard to holding a second ballot on the question. At presont 530 mills havo stopped, and 160 are working wholly or partially.
