The thirteenth annual report of tho Mangorei Co-operative .Dairy Company,; to bo laid ucforo shareholders at'Egraont ' Village, on Monday, October, 5, states that the quantity of milk received last season, was very much less, than during the previous year, owing' to the prolonged dry weather during |tho' summer. The table shows, thecomparison, tho figures for the previous year being in parentheses:— ' 'Milk received,'.lb., 12,982,203 (15,364,096).' • Butter fat received,' 1b.;'504,573 (595,611). Butter made; lb., 573,803 (680,684). ' Over-run, per cent,, 13.72 (14.28).. Lb.'milk to each lb. butter, 22.62 (22.57). - Averago test, 3.89 (3.87). : Amount paid to suppliers, £21,340 2s Id. (£26,463 os. 2d). Rate per lb. of butter-fat, 10.15 d. (10.66 d). The sum of £216 Is. 3d. has been paid to shareholders, 'being 5 per .cent, dividend on ■djare'capital; £450 4s. 9d. has been written off for depreciation; and a balanco of £22 Is. sd. has been brought forward. The retiring directors are Messrs. Morton and Bocock. Mr. Bocock does not intend to offer himself for re-election.
