AUSTRALIAN TEAM RETURNS. (BY TELEGRAM—MESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, September 21. The Mayor welcomed the New Zealand football team playing under Australian rules who returned by the Wimmera. Ho congratulated them on their success and on the financial rosult of the tour. Though the expenses ran iuto four figures, he understood the league had benefited to the extent of from £125 to £150.
