HUTT FLOWER SHOW.
Few .events are looked forward to. with keener. interest than.■ the annual" spring (lower show to be oponed by .Sir Joseph Ward at the Town Hall, Lower Hutt, tomorrow, under the auspjces if the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society. With a fine day, Lower Hutt will be on fete, and. as the committee have completed all arrangements, a succssful exhibition is confidently anticipated. Tho 'arrangements include (in: addition'to the. staging of the exhibits, which is to be .in'the capable hands of Messrs. Trevethick, Pointon, and Hollard) the, musical items by the 'Hutt Orchestra,, under :tho leadership of ,Mr. Wood,' a flower stall foi-.'i he sale 1 of cut flowers,. presided over by: Mrs. W. E.-Hughes, and'tho very necessary, afternoon- tea- and refreshments. The latter under - the "supervision of Mesdames G. A. Chapman,VW: E., Hughes, W'. ; Jolliffe, G. F. Pearce,.' arid E. D. Woodward, who will have the assistance, as usual, of many other Hutt, ladies.. A , large number ,of entries' have. been received, arid a very fine show.of bulbs and other,flowers will bo on exhibition.
