COTTON TRADE DISPUTE.
(Rec. September 21, 10.41 p.m.) London, September 21. There are indications that the stoppage of the Lancashire cotton mills will not be protracted. It is expected that the card-room .workers— the section whose refusal of the 5 per cent, wage-reduction is paralysing the trade—will lake a ballot on the subject.
