Like all good appliances, it is exceedingly simple. It consists of, W tinned steel-jacket, which is fitted over'.the cooler when in use, and completely prevents dust from reaching tho. milk in its passage down the cooler. The milk is poured.into a strainer' at the, top of the jacket, and passes through this directly, upon the cooler. ■It can be made to fit any cooler already;,:in" use, or it could be,sent out by makers'as part of cooling outfits. Lightness, sin*-, plicity, '.and cheapness are among its strong points, and it appears to fill.a long-felt want, removing the greatest drawback of coolersexposure to ,the air and contamination.
