Tho first annual mooting of tho St. Mark's Cricket Club was held in tho blubroom recently. A largo number was present, the ltov, A. M. Johnson being, in the chair. Tho rules for tho now club were drawn ud, and tho following officers woro elected President, Rev. A, M. Johnson j vice-presidents, Dr. F. T. Bowethank, Messrs. G. W. Bail-' trop, Samuel Brown, A. E. Fowler, J. Besant, H. J. 11. Blow, It. F. Itussell, A. E. Rising; club captain, Mr. W. H. Heley; lion, secretary, Mr. A. It. Charlton; lion, treasurer, Mr. E. Walker; hon. auditor, Mr. B. E. Rawnsley; delegate to_ Wollington Clrickot Association, Mr., F. K, Kelling; management committee, Mean. H. Sanders, L. C. Barnes, G, C. Smith, 0. H. Dillner, W. Etching, F. Bray, M. Andrews. Tho wine-drinkjiig public is gradually becoming a smaller percentage of tho aggrogate community.
