CRITICISED AT HUTT. THE BURDEN OF THE LEASEHOLDER. Members of the Wellington Dairy Farmers' Industrial Union of Employers at Upper Hiitt on Thursday evening discussed the new dairy regulations. Regret was expressed that a copy had not been supplied as promised by the Department. With regard to permanent improvements on leaseholds, tho union endorsed its previous request to the Minister—that the tenant should pay only an amount equivalent to 5 per cent, of tho total cost for each year of the unexpired term of the lease. The secretary was instructed to • communicato with the chairman of the Stock Committee of Parliament, and to invito_ other localities to assist in getting the desired amendments. The secretary was also requested to communicato further with the llinister for Railways in tho matter of the train service connecting with Mungaroa Valley.
