As a result of the defalcations (said to total one million sterling) of M. Alberti, exMinistor for Justice in Denmark, who was largely interested in Danish and colonial dairy produce companies, it is understood that Messrs. Wilier and Riley, produce merchants, have lost about £55,000. Their shares have fallen from 19s. Gd. to 10s. CABLE REPORT DENIED. (BI ' TELEGRAPH—PBESS ASSOCIATION*.) Eitham, September IS. Mr. S. Turner, director of Wilier and Riley, produce merchants, denies the truth of the statement in yostorday's cable messages that his firm had suffered losses through the defalcations of M. Alberti, the Danish Minister.
