'The 'Tramway .Committee of '.the City Council will bo called upon at its next meeting to consider tho. raising of money foi thoso works, tramway and electric lighting, t-o which tho council iias committed itself, and to dccide which of the others, if any, will bo placed before the ratepayers. It is very satisfactory to know that tho council is actively considering what can bo done, and as soon as a decision is arrived at, the works will be put in hand. TIP WADESTOWN EXTENSION. Tho amount set down for the Wadestown extension, £25,000, will be a separate rate, the Mayor told a reporter yesterday.
