SIR H. CARRUTHERS.
Melbourne, September 15. Sir Hector Carruthers, ex-Premier of New South Wales, who has boeh in Great Britain since his resignation through ill-health some months ago, returned by tho steamer Mil : tiades. During an interview, Sir Hector said he considered the franco-British Exhibition had. done moro to advertise, Australia than anything that had over been previously attempted.
