Sir Frederick Borden, Canadian Minister of Militia, lias returned to Ottawa from a visit to tlio militia camp at Niagara. He says that all, the musketry practice at the, camps of instruction this year is being carried out with the Ross rifle. At Niagara, whero 6000 troops .are assomblcd, a better average ill shooting has been- reached than ever before. Tlio Minister announces,.that as soon as the new bayonets have been delivered tho Lee-Enfield rifles will .be recalled,, aud the Robs substituted, throughout the vliolc Canadian militia.
