Turnips. .. . ■y, Roly-poly; Pudding., . FRICASSEE OF SHEEP'S TONGUES. Boil some sheep's tongues in salt and water . until thoy are qui to-tender. skin them and cut thorn into'small, pieces. Have ready; the following sauci}:— Melt a tablespoonful of bntter:;in a saucepan, and add to it three slices "of onion, salt - , and pepper. Then stir into it a tablespoonful of flour, and next threo- • quarters of a pint of milk and water. Stir, this until the mixturo boils, and then strain 1 , this white sauce on to . the tongues, and re- : heat it;'adding lemon or nutmeg if it is_ necessary. If the onion is. to bo served in the fricasee it should be chopped before it is added to the butter. Fried bread or toast is often served' with this dish. FOR. TO-MORROW.
